What you will do
- Solve complex problems at scale owning software architecture and technical designs.
- Provide technical leadership and act as a force multiplier across teams.
- Drive technical decisions to improve engineering, testing, and operational excellence.
- Participate in all project phases: requirements, design, development, integration, and testing.
- Build scalable, highly available cloud applications using optimal technologies.
- Support hiring and invest in team and product health.
Requirements
- Location: Based in Madrid, Spain with hybrid work requiring office attendance two days per week.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 8+ years equivalent experience in modern programming languages including Java.
- Strong fundamentals in computer science, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Experience with software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to define system architectures and build scalable, distributed production systems.
- Comfortable communicating in English (written and/or verbal).
