What you will do
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for medium-sized initiatives.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and design sound, maintainable web services using Java or Python.
- Build and performance tune highly scalable APIs.
- Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines and ML Engineering workflows.
- Communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders and influence technical direction.
- Mentor junior and peer engineers, fostering continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- Experience: 4-6 years of professional experience in the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API performance, and scaling best practices.
- Strong command of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns to build complex and efficient systems.
- Significant experience developing and maintaining production-scale, customer-facing web services.
- Hands-on exposure and solid understanding of different storage engines (SQL and NoSQL, Search Engines).
- Familiarity with AWS environments and working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Nice to have
- Practical experience managing the data lifecycle through ETL/ELT processes and deploying ML models into production.
- Experience with Agentic Workflows or AI-driven automation.
