What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of advanced ranking algorithms and retrieval models.
• Innovate in Semantic Search by fine-tuning and distilling Language Models and implementing semantic embedding techniques.
• Architect and implement sophisticated recommender systems for user experience personalization.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Research and evaluate emerging trends in ML, NLP, and Information Retrieval, prototyping new ideas.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment, with a significant focus on Information Retrieval, Search, or Recommender Systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with SQL.
• Deep knowledge of ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, and libraries like Scikit-learn and Hugging Face.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases.
• Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience in the financial domain.
• Experience with MLOps tools and cloud platforms.
