• Build and optimize advanced simulation environments for Ring's smart home device firmware.
• Design and develop precise software representations of hardware ecosystems.

• Enhance developer experience and tooling design across the SDLC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in at least one modern language such as C++, Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python, including object-oriented design.
• Strong desire to build, deliver results, take ownership, and drive projects.
• Passion for self-learning and curiosity in technological advancements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work onsite in Gdansk, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience in embedded development in C/C++ with familiarity with SoC and embedded CPU.
• Experience taking software products from inception to customer delivery, focusing on design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and build automation.
• Experience with QEMU or other simulation systems.
