Team Leader (Linux Infrastructure): Leading and growing a Server Engineering team responsible for the stability, growth, and continuous improvement of Linux-based core infrastructure services with an accent on people management, delivery oversight, and architectural evolution. Focus on fostering a high-performance culture, strategic technical planning, and proactively identifying and mitigating technical and project-related risks.

Location: Onsite in Limassol, Cyprus. Full relocation support provided for you and your family to Cyprus.

What you will do

• Build and grow the Server Engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Lead and inspire the team, providing coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and tailored growth planning.
• Take ownership of decisions, translate company goals into team priorities, and serve as a link between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in technical planning, reporting processes, and project management, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to standards.
• Drive the assessment and implementation of new technologies and tools, continuously identifying and addressing technical debt.
• Support and take responsibility for incident management, analysis, and prevention within the area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Linux infrastructure, including 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship role.
• Expertise in RHEL / Debian and a strong Infrastructure-as-Code approach.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible playbooking, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with monitoring, logging, and performance tools, including HA proxy setups.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerisation/Kubernetes.
• Experience with public CDN (e.g., CloudFlare).
