Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA. Salary: 174,530 - 261,400 USD per annum

What you will do

• Design highly sophisticated CMOS transceiver/SERDES products.
• Conduct architectural investigations and implement various circuits such as PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, and CDRs.
• Perform design verification using industry standard tools like SPICE, Spectre, and MATLAB.
• Carry out layout activities in nanometric technologies and supervise physical design.
• Characterize, debug, and validate designs independently or with test engineers in the lab.
• Generate design-related documents and application specifications.
• Interface with digital and SOC teams to facilitate design integration and cross-functional verifications.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
• Hands-on experience in designing mixed-signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, Filters, Bandgap bias circuits, and regulators.
• Knowledge and experience in low-power and high-speed design techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, and Verilog.
• Lab testing skills to evaluate prototype units to design specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience, or Master’s/PhD with 5-10 years of experience.
