What you will do

• Create stunning real-time visual effects (smoke, fire, explosions, weather) that enhance player experience and immerse them in the game world.
• Combine technology and creativity to integrate impactful, high-quality VFX.
• Collaborate with art, programming, and design teams to understand features and elements for VFX additions.
• Mentor other artists, offer guidance and support, and help establish pipelines, processes, and workflows.
• Take ownership of features and systems within the VFX domain.

Requirements

• A photo-realistic portfolio/showreel of real-time VFX elements.
• Experience in modelling, texturing, and image processing.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop.
• Proficiency in 3D software (Maya or 3DS Max).
• Understanding of basic vector math and art fundamentals (lighting, composition, colour theory).
• Ability to give, receive, and apply feedback constructively.

Nice to have

• Desirable experience with proprietary/in-house engines.
