IT Infrastructure Engineer II (AWS)

Location: 100% remote for candidates based in the UK

What you will do

• Engineer solutions for cloud-based systems.
• Provision and manage resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Provide in-depth technical support for a global, multi-region environment.
• Share knowledge to elevate teammates’ skill sets.
• Provide support for tickets escalated through the Helpdesk.
• Partner with the Information Security team with a security-first approach.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps and Systems Administration experience.
• Engineering and operations experience with AWS.
• Advanced experience with Linux system administration.
• Ability to write and maintain Terraform and Ansible code.
• Scripting experience (preferably Python and Shell).
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, Git, and GitHub.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and applications.
• Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, self-manage, and prioritize activities in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud.
• Experience with AWS Organizations.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes solutions.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting web services.
• Knowledge of CDNs, WAFs, IDPs, and SSO integrations.
• Recognized certification in cloud-based environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
