What you will do

• Develop and validate models/algorithms for use cases like gait analysis and movement pattern recognition.
• Define metrics, conduct offline evaluations, and ensure reproducibility for experiment design and measurability.
• Derive meaningful feature representations from radar data using domain understanding.
• Evaluate new approaches for radar-based patient monitoring, including classic ML, deep learning, probabilistic models, and hybrid methods.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or Software Engineer with demonstrable productive ML systems.
• In-depth knowledge of ML (Supervised/Unsupervised, Sequences/Time Series, Anomaly Detection, Classification/Regression).
• Solid understanding of statistics and evaluation methods.
• Ability to derive, question, and combine models with domain knowledge (first-principles thinking).

Nice to have

• Radar/sensor experience, especially with demanding signal/time series characteristics.
• Experience with robust benchmarking (Regression-Suites, Golden Data Replays, A/B-Tests).
• Domain know-how in the healthcare context (clinical workflows, outcome-oriented feature definition).
