What you will do

• Translate research strategy into a research portfolio using a prioritisation framework.
• Partner with the R&D team to shape research programs around clear commercial objectives.
• Manage operations of the NFP research organisation, including delivering on the marketing plan and managing PR.
• Develop and manage relationships with universities, global research organisations, and industry collaborators.
• Lead contracting, scoping, and negotiation processes for new research collaborations.
• Create portfolio-level project plans, timelines, and risk registers.

Requirements

• Experienced: 2-4 years of experience in a top-tier management consultancy, high-growth start-up, or similar.
• Educational foundation in science or a keen interest in science.
• Outstanding written communication skills, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to talk with both sides of the business.
