Location: Hybrid in Philadelphia office

What you will do

  • Resolve technical customer issues related to dedicated, root, and VPS server products via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist customers with setting up and maintaining virtual servers.
  • Troubleshoot a wide range of technical and billing concerns and educate customers about products and processes.
  • Recommend and sell appropriate products and services based on customer needs.
  • Manage workload efficiently to meet departmental goals for efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, and sales/revenue.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience with an emphasis on technical support.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols (HTTP, DNS, FTP, SSH, RDP).
  • Basic understanding of web hosting software such as IIS and Apache.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

  • Skills in the web hosting environment.
  • Technical education in networking and IT infrastructure.
