Salary: $115,000–$202,800 USD (depending on US location zone)

What you will do

• Contribute directly to product teams tackling real-world challenges for Square’s global sellers.
• Partner with engineering, design, research, data science, and AI teams to explore opportunities.
• Define problems, prototype solutions, and ship impactful work across diverse product surfaces.
• Rapidly prototype with modern AI tools and use data and models to deepen insights.
• Apply AI assistants to extend your reach and velocity in product building.
• Work in the open, contribute to real decisions, and see your ideas come to life in products used around the world.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US and have work authorization in the US.
• 2-5 years of work experience in a related field OR a degree in business, data/analytics, computer science, or engineering, plus an internship in a related field.
• Hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Replit, v0, ML models, data workflows) in academic, professional, or side projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for product building and alignment with Square’s mission of economic empowerment.
