QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote. While the company has offices across the globe, including Kuala Lumpur, this role is open to candidates globally.

What you will do

• Automate and maintain automated test systems using modern testing methodologies and CI pipelines.
• Contribute to test plans and test cases, estimating and coordinating testing activities.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs, performing thorough regression testing.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements and proactively improve QA processes.
• Track and share quality assurance metrics and stay updated with new testing tools and strategies.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of Automated Testing experience.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Good coding skills in Javascript, Golang, or Python.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and functional tests, particularly for web and mobile applications.
• Comfortable setting up new test systems and frameworks from scratch, utilizing tools like Detox, Appium, Cypress, and other Selenium-based tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps, AWS, and CI tooling.
