Location: Remote, must be based in the United States (eligible to work in DoD Impact Level 4 or above cloud service environments).

Salary: $133,100–$210,600 USD; up to $159,900–$252,900 USD in select locations (Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, San Francisco Bay Area CA, New York City Metro Area).

What you will do

• Review and respond to security alerts from the hirify.global Detection Engine and other monitoring sources.
• Provide feedback to the Threat Detection team to improve detection quality.
• Conduct analysis on SIEM and endpoint logs during complex investigations.
• Develop and document innovative approaches to detect, respond to, and eradicate advanced threats.
• Identify additional integration points for event enrichment and automated response activities.
• Oversee and coordinate response activities across multiple teams and products.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience related to security operations or incident response in a complex, global environment.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex IT and security problems through log and system analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to think innovatively about solving critical security problems.
• Experience coordinating response activities to resolve IT and security-related problems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to make sound decisions with limited information.
• Eligible to work in DoD Impact Level 4 or above cloud service environments.
