What you will do

• Architect AI Systems: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end GenAI features, focusing on RAG architectures and integrating Solr for vector & keyword search at scale.
• Drive technical excellence across the stack, writing robust code in Hacklang and ensuring React/Redux frontends are performant and intuitive.
• Own the lifecycle of LLM integration, including prompt engineering, managing embeddings, and building evaluation frameworks.
• Provide technical mentorship, perform code reviews, mentor senior engineers, and influence the broader Search & AI roadmap.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and infrastructure teams to integrate GenAI tech into a cohesive user experience.

Requirements

• Substantial experience (7-12+ years) in full-stack or backend-heavy engineering with a track record of shipping complex, distributed systems.
• Deep familiarity with the modern AI stack, including optimizing RAG pipelines and hands-on experience with Vector Databases (like Solr, Pinecone, or Milvus).
• Comfortable writing in multiple programming languages such as Hack, Python, and Swift and handling both frontend and backend tasks.
• Experience with LLM evaluations and data-driven iteration.
• This role is based in our Tel Aviv hub, and we are looking for leaders who can help foster the local engineering culture.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
