Salary: €65,000–€84,420 per year

What you will do

• Take full ownership of the continued development of an advanced high-load SaaS platform.
• Tackle complex engineering puzzles related to real-time event streaming, load forecasting, and scaling.
• Work with open-source technologies such as Java, Kafka, Cassandra, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the company to help shape the culture, tech stack, and methodologies.
• Make a significant impact on global sustainability through data-intensive assets enabling better decisions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend engineering.
• Professional experience with Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka), Docker, and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
• Experience running NoSQL databases (Cassandra) and handling large-scale data is a plus.
• A completed technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is a big plus.
