Salary: €60,000 – €75,000 annually + 5% year-end bonus + €11,160 mobility allowance.

What you will do

• Join greenfield projects for scalable, maintainable, and business-critical solutions.
• Be involved in every phase, from intake and architecture to implementation and handover.
• Work 1-on-1 with a senior engineer, learning smart architectural decisions and balancing quality with impact.
• Work in a polyglot environment using Java, Kotlin, Scala, TypeScript, and Go.
• Explore and leverage cutting-edge technologies like generative AI, microservices, and event sourcing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a backend software engineer.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Scala, TypeScript, and/or Go.
• A polyglot mindset (using the right tool for the job).
• Clear communication, fast learning, and openness to feedback.
• A technical degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with unit testing and, ideally, containerization and microservices.
• Must be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands for hybrid work.
