Network Operations Analyst

TL;DR

Network Operations Analyst: Supporting private and public sector clients within a vast portfolio with an accent on delivering a stable, secure, efficient, and well-managed infrastructure. Focus on diagnosing and resolving network incidents and implementing network changes.

Location: Hybrid working in Manchester or Inverness. Must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve Level 2/3 network incidents, ensuring seamless connectivity and security for global enterprises.
• Implement network changes and requests, optimizing performance across diverse environments.
• Grow your expertise through professional training, certifications, and hands-on experience with next-generation networking technologies.

Requirements

• Enterprise networking experience, backed by relevant technical certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto NSP).
• Hands-on expertise with Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower).
• Strong knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and familiarity with SASE frameworks, including Fortinet SASE and other leading solutions.
• Expertise in core networking areas such as LAN/WAN, VPN, MPLS, network segmentation, VLAN configuration, QoS, and advanced routing and switching.
• A good working knowledge of ITIL processes.
• To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Clearance (SC). To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years.
