• Own and deliver features and projects that support your team’s quarterly objectives.
• Collaborate across product, design, and analytics to shape solutions and communicate technical constraints.
• Identify and surface technical, process, or business issues and contribute to resolving them.
• Support the reliability of your team’s systems by maintaining and improving metrics.
• Participate in on‑call and operational duties.
• Promote quality and ownership by upholding code and design standards and sharing learnings with the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience in designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale technologies like Python, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping distributed systems communicating via RPC, event streaming, or REST APIs.
• Experience defining a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component with a simple and extensible design.
• You are comfortable making changes in a large code base.
• You use tools and practices that enable you and your team to do so safely.
