What you will do

• Implement and manage security solutions using the Microsoft Defender suite across Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Protect and continuously improve a cloud-only Microsoft environment.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents using Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Manage email and identity security, including anti-phishing and attack simulations.
• Oversee device security, compliance, and vulnerability management using Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint.
• Automate security tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security across platforms and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Cybersecurity or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst) certification (required or strongly preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a security-focused role within a Microsoft Cloud environment (Microsoft 365 and/or Azure).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, cloud security, identity protection, and Microsoft security architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Defender (XDR) and Microsoft Purview.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash scripting, and KQL for advanced hunting, automation, and custom detections.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of ISO 27001 requirements and experience supporting security audits.
• Additional Microsoft or industry certifications such as AZ-500, SC-300, SC-400, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, ISC² CC, or SC-100.
