What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure for games, backend services, and internal tooling.
• Work closely with the development team to understand and implement their requirements.
• Develop systems or tools that aid the development team.
• Raise and/or solve complex technical issues when they arise.
• Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements.
• Lead projects, mentor junior team members, and communicate directly with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years professional work experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Excellent English verbal and written communications skills.
• Extensive experience with Linux-based systems management, Docker, and managing containerized services.
• Experience designing and implementing detailed monitoring, logging, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and AWS-based solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with self-hosting.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience developing scalable backend APIs, integrating with 3rd party APIs, or mobile app development.
• Experience with on-call processes and procedures.
