What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage systems, including advanced features like Global Active Device.
- Configure and manage storage replication, snapshot, shadow image, and remote replication.
- Utilize Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, and HDLM for storage system management and monitoring.
- Configure and manage Brocade switch and fabric, including zoning, ISL, trunking, and fabric merging.
- Troubleshoot storage performance issues and optimize storage systems for maximum performance.
- Lead projects from sizing to rollout, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring ITIL compliance.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in storage engineering with a strong focus on Hitachi storage architecture and Brocade switch and fabric.
- In-depth knowledge of Hitachi storage systems (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00) and Brocade switch/fabric.
- Experience with storage replication, snapshot, shadow image, and remote replication.
- Proficiency with Hitachi tools like HCS, HTnM, and HDLM.
- Basic knowledge of VMware, OS (AIX/Windows/Linux), and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with excellent communication.
