What you will do

• Ensuring the stability, accuracy, and availability of data for the entire company.
• Setting up, maintaining, and optimizing ELT processes (Airbyte).
• Developing new integrations and controlling data quality for reporting.
• Creating and maintaining analytical models in BigQuery using dbt.
• Building monitoring and alerting processes for pipelines.
• Optimizing data aggregations according to business needs in close collaboration with analysts.

Requirements

• Experience as a Data Engineer for 2+ years.
• SQL: Confident understanding of SQL for working with databases.
• Python: Ability to write efficient and clean code for creating custom connectors AirByte and setting up DAG-pipelines in AirFlow.
• Understanding of DE concepts: Basic knowledge of Data Modeling, Data Patterns, and the architecture of analytical storage (e.g., BigQuery).
• Understanding of the principles of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of the principles of query optimization (partitioning, clustering, cost optimization).

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt: creating, testing, and documenting models; using macros, sources, seeds, and variables; understanding the structure of a dbt project.
• Focus on working with modern Data-stack and willingness to quickly master new tools.
• Experience with ML ops.
