Salary: $320,000 - $485,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Windows-specific features and infrastructure for Claude Code.
• Own the Windows developer experience, ensuring Claude Code installs, runs, and performs reliably.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell integrations and scripts for smooth Windows workflows.
• Collaborate with the broader team to ensure cross-platform compatibility and feature parity.
• Work with Windows package managers (Chocolatey, winget, scoop) to streamline installation and updates.
• Debug and resolve Windows-specific issues, including file system, permissions, and shell compatibility challenges.

Requirements

• Deep Windows development experience, including PowerShell scripting and Windows system integration.
• Experience building and maintaining CLI applications.
• Passion for developer tools and understanding what makes them useful and adoptable.
• Ability to work independently to identify and solve Windows-specific challenges.
• Shipped software used by developers in production Windows environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

Nice to have

• Strong TypeScript development experience.
• Linux and/or macOS development experience (cross-platform thinking).
• Experience with Windows package managers (Chocolatey, winget, scoop).
• Hands-on experience working with large language models and prompt engineering.
• Experience building and maintaining developer tools at scale.
