Infrastructure Intern (Fintech/Web3)

TL;DR

Infrastructure Intern (Fintech/Web3): Supporting the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team by contributing to internal developer platform initiatives, cost monitoring, and resource optimization within a fast-paced fintech and crypto environment. Focus on improving existing processes, conducting analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Location: Based in London, with a mandatory in-office presence four days per week.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day activities and projects within the SRE - Core team.
• Assist in delivering initiatives related to internal developer platform based on Backstage.
• Improve existing processes for cost monitoring and resource usage optimisation.
• Conduct research, analysis, and reporting to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across our Engineering organisation.
• Prepare documentation, presentations, or insights for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a scientific discipline.
• Enthusiasm for tooling and using the command line.
• Experience with at least one of the languages: Python, Golang or JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of Git and Github.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in fintech, crypto, digital assets, or technology-driven businesses.
