What you will do

• Design, document, and maintain workflows for character modeling, texturing, rigging, and integration.
• Optimize asset performance (LODs, poly budgets, textures, shaders) considering memory and CPU/GPU constraints.
• Develop tools and scripts to enhance production efficiency and support artists.
• Collaborate with animation, gameplay, engine, and lighting teams for technical compatibility.
• Explore and integrate new technologies like 3D scanning, grooming systems, and advanced shaders.
• Create and maintain technical guides for internal and external teams.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in 3D Animation for Video Games or relevant training is required.
• Strong command of game engines, PBR pipelines, and tools such as Maya, ZBrush, Substance, and Houdini.
• Solid knowledge of scripting languages and shader development.
• Ability to balance visual quality with technical constraints.
• Skilled at explaining technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Ability to mentor and support Technical Artists and Character Artists.
