What you will do

• Script and develop technical tools to refine and improve art workflow.
• Optimize pipelines between artist publishing tools, asset databases, and version control backend.
• Build and troubleshoot artist data (assets, props, textures, materials, characters) and the pipeline producing it.
• Collaborate with other technical artists, support art teams directly, and work closely with engineers.

Requirements

• Experience in writing tools, scripts, and pipeline development for games or visual effects.
• Mastery with Python.
• Working knowledge of Maya or other 3D content creation applications.
• Love for video games.

Nice to have

• Experience with Perforce or other version control software.
• Supervising a render farm job queue and troubleshooting failed jobs.
• Character rigging experience.
• Experience with Qt and PySide.
• Experience working with Shader for USD.
• Setting up or maintaining ShotGrid Desktop and the ShotGrid Tank API.
• Querying and populating a database with its Python API.
• Machine Learning experience.
• Experience with C#.
