What you will do

• Lead the development of critical projects, designing and implementing customer experiences, complex workflows, and operational task management applications.
• Solve highly complex and ambiguous challenges with simple, effective solutions.
• Act as a significant hands-on contributor, delivering high-quality, maintainable, and performant code in Java, Kotlin, or Golang.
• Influence strategic tech decisions and evolve engineering practices within a community of Principal Engineers and tech leaders.
• Mentor and coach senior technical staff, fostering their professional growth.
• Lead design reviews for complex software projects, ensuring shared understanding and mitigating pitfalls.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in solving problems using data structures and algorithms, with an understanding of time and space complexity.
• Proven ability to document and communicate complex technical decisions to diverse audiences.
• Professional experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, scaling) for multiple systems.
• Experience in growing peer engineers through mentorship and guidance.
• Ability to navigate and lead through situations with extreme ambiguity.
