Investigations Analyst

TL;DR

Investigations Analyst (Cybersecurity): Responsible for the research, analysis, and dissemination of information relevant to protecting the safety and security of personnel, brand, global assets, intellectual property, and operations at hirify.global. Focus on triaging anomalous event data, analyzing insider threat program datasets, and conducting comprehensive investigations.

Location: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee. Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed. Must be willing to travel ad hoc.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive investigations and analysis in support of hirify.global IP and security.
• Collect and analyze program data to evaluate insider threat risk.
• Triage anomalous event data associated with indicators of data exfiltration and destruction.
• Conduct internal investigations, working with various departments and external partners.
• Utilize network monitoring, data analytic, and other tools to identify anomalous activity.
• Communicate findings to team members, management, and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience in investigations, security, or IT; OR 4+ years professional experience in investigations, security, or IT in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to conduct interviews on short notice.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality while conducting highly sensitive tasks.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of insider threat program missions and stakeholders.
• Basic familiarity with continuous risk assessment and risk-scoring concepts.
• Investigation experience conducting preliminary assessments, investigation planning, and evidence collection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Purview.
• Experience using a SIEM, and/or conducting digital forensic investigations.
