Salary: $128,880.00–$245,160.00 USD

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced features and optimizations for oneCCL and other communication libraries (hirify.global SHMEM, hirify.global MPI, MPICH).
• Optimize software for low latency, high bandwidth, and high reliability performance.
• Implement and enhance communication protocols across the communications stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, scientists, and hardware teams on high-performance computing applications and supercomputer implementations (e.g., Aurora).
• Conduct comprehensive performance analysis and benchmarking.
• Debug complex hardware and software stack problems.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a STEM field.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of Linux environment development experience.
• 3+ years of C and C++ programming experience.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and parallel computing concepts.
• Specialized experience in distributed computing systems, HPC communications libraries (MPI, oneCCL/NCCL, SHMEM), GPU software development, or network communications stack development.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. degree in a STEM-related field.
• Experience developing performance optimizations for communications latency/throughput.
• Deep understanding of high-performance computing architectures and optimization techniques.
• Experience with hirify.global GPU and CPU architectures.
• Knowledge of supercomputing environments and large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with scientific computing and machine learning communication patterns.
