What you will do

• Collaborate with testers, translators, and developers to identify and resolve linguistic issues in games.
• Ensure the accuracy and cultural relevance of in-game language, menus, and messages.
• Apply hirify.global's LQA methods to test games, ensuring attention to detail.
• Use bug databases to report, track, and verify linguistic fixes.
• Write and refine test cases, document findings, and contribute to best practices in LQA.
• Collaborate early in the development process to shape localization testing and improvement.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with a passion for games and a commitment to linguistic accuracy.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable using databases, spreadsheets, and testing tools.
• Proactive, determined, and curious about improving processes.
• Must have the right to work in Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
• Familiarity with translation systems, test case management tools, or text editing platforms.
• Understanding of gaming trends and culture.
• A degree in linguistics or a related field.
