Location: Barcelona, Spain. This role is primarily on-site, with the freedom to work from home two days a week and the opportunity to work from anywhere for up to three weeks a year.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end development of native iOS and Android UI SDKs, ensuring backend synchronization.
• Collaborate with Backend Engineers on API contracts for UI SDK and global tracking infrastructure.
• Provide technical direction to the team, aligning solutions with business needs and product counterparts.
• Bridge between central and regional brand engineers to ensure smooth SDK adoption.
• Manage and mentor mobile engineers, fostering excellence, growth, and accountability.
• Define "Definition of Done" and ensure rigorous testing from UI consistency to backend integration.
• Own tech metrics and KPIs for SDK performance, network latency, and integration health.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of formal experience managing an engineering team with mentorship and technical guidance.
• Deep technical knowledge of Android or iOS, coupled with a strong understanding of BFF architectures.
• Proficiency in reviewing RFCs and technical documentation, comfortable with API contracts.
• Experience working with or building Design Systems.
• Resourceful technical guidance, prioritizing high-impact features and code quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Full professional English proficiency (C1).
