What you will do
- Manage daily AWS operations (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC), ensuring reliability, scalability, and backups.
- Operate, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines, supporting deployments and automating infrastructure tasks.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations, contributing to operational playbooks.
- Monitor and optimize cloud usage, supporting cost-efficiency initiatives and reporting on savings opportunities.
- Operate and support MongoDB clusters, ensuring performance, backups, scaling, and application integration.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using tools like Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry.
- Apply security best practices, including IAM policies, patching, logging, and compliance tasks (SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient platform operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years in CloudOps, DevOps, or SRE roles supporting production systems.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Production experience with MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline and automation tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry).
- Operations-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS) and cloud cost optimization (FinOps practices).
- Awareness of security and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
