TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Java/Kotlin): Creating the going-forward solution to all of the hirify.global integrations to and from third-party providers and help in driving internal integration of these systems closer to reality. Focus on microservice architecture, API design, and distributed high-volume systems.

What you will do

• Collaborate with teams to understand the complex relationship between systems and third-party software.
• Understand the requirements for the integration and data elements from different areas.
• Acquire and document every aspect of the different areas to understand the solution at hand.
• Develop and implement the new communication between the two areas and ensure the correct communication of all the necessary data.
• Engage with internal and external technical and non-technical personnel to ensure delivery of the requirements for an integration.
• Understand and practice all of the Engineering tenets and best practices of hirify.global and ensure new team members are coached properly.

Requirements

• Solid Java or Kotlin knowledge, experience with Spring framework and microservice best practices.
• Expertise in microservice architecture, API design, and distributed high-volume systems.
• Strong principles in writing clean, secure, and maintainable code that is readable and testable.
• Experienced with cloud systems (AWS) and relational databases.
• Familiar with real-time, asynchronous systems, and highly available infrastructure.
