What you will do

• Design and build distributed systems for essential service platforms.
• Develop reliable, secure, and high-performance services and client libraries for large-scale data storage on cloud backends (AWS S3, GCS, Azure Blob Store).
• Create product features empowering customers to store and access data easily.
• Solve reliability problems related to Lakebase.
• Improve and remove root causes of downtime.
• Define SLIs, meet SLOs, and drive long-term reliability improvements.

Requirements

• BS degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of production experience in Java, Scala, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL.
