Location: Remote (South Africa)

Salary: R40,000–R70,000+ per month

What you will do

• Build games or real-time applications using Unity 2018+ or Unreal Engine 4.
• Program in C# and .NET, or C++ with excellent knowledge of Blueprints.
• Work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Write well-thought-out, optimized, and extendable code following established conventions.
• Diagnose issues through debugging and profiling code.

Requirements

• English: B2 required.
• Experience building games or real-time applications in Unity 2018+ or UE4.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET, or C++.
• Excellent knowledge and familiarity with Unity Scripting and the Unity Editor, or excellent knowledge of Blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Familiarity working with source control, specifically Git and GitFlow.

Nice to have

• Understanding of 2D & 3D graphics pipelines.
• Understanding of standard game development optimization principles.
• Experience working on mobile, VR, or console platforms.
• Experience using DirectX or OpenGL APIs.
• Experience using JIRA or related task management tools.
• Passion for video games.
• Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree.
