What you will do

• Design, build, and operate low-latency indexing/streaming services on gRPC, Kafka, and our real-time stack.
• Own APIs, schemas, SLOs, observability, and on-call for the systems you run.
• Lead multi-month initiatives (new chains, re-architecture, migrations/backfills) to improve latency, reliability, and cost.
• Partner across teams to define data contracts and ship SDKs/platform primitives that drive adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Very strong experience in distributed systems or data systems.
• Proven experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.
• Passion for building an indexing platform that brings the Web3 and Web2 world together.
• Work authorization for the US or US Citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and developing distributed systems.
• Experience with rapid company growth (from 10 to 100s of engineers).
• Experience with Blockchains (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum).
• Experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices.
• Experience with Golang, Kafka, Redis, S3, Clickhouse, MongoDB.
• Experience building financial, high reliability or security systems.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.
