What you will do
- Lead the monetization and growth strategic objective, working with multiple squads and growth managers across mobile and web platforms.
- Define and prioritize the product strategy and roadmap for growth and monetization, leading pricing optimization and business model experimentation to maximize paid subscriber revenue.
- Drive a large portfolio of growth and monetization bets, managing experimentation velocity and coordinating across cross-functional teams to deliver measurable impact on key business metrics.
- Build growth loops and drive top-of-funnel growth; Increase engagement, retention and revenue through data-driven experimentation.
- Manage a small team of product growth managers, providing strategic direction as well as mentorship and coaching.
Requirements
- Staff-level product management experience (~10 years) working on growth and monetization at the organizational level, with proven ability to optimize activation, retention, and upsell levers in mobile and web products.
- Leadership and management experience with a track record of leading and influencing multiple squads through rapid experimentation and iteration, and have directly managed small teams of PMs or growth managers.
- Data fluency: you have run A/B tests across diverse platforms and can analyze and optimize funnels to identify growth opportunities.
- Strategic and tactical balance: built growth strategies, defined growth models, and led successful growth and monetization initiatives at scale.
- Creativity and wholistic product thinking, thinking about how to grow the product and how to make users succeed in your product.
