Senior Backend Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Backend Engineer: Joining one of dynamic technical teams, such as Marketplace, Privacy, Passenger, Supply, B2B, etc, implementing new microservices and support old ones with the main focus on writing clean, scalable, and efficient code mainly in Go language. Focus on unit testing and peer code review to ensure the quality of the software and maintain technical documentation.

Location: On-site role in Limassol, Cyprus with relocation allowance

What you will do

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and discuss project goals.
• Participate in the analysis, design, and evaluation of technical requirements.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code mainly in Go language.
• Implement new microservices and support existing ones.
• Perform unit testing and participate in integration and system testing.
• Review code written by peers and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing scalable and reliable backend services.
• Proficiency with Go/Ruby/Python/C++/Java/Kotlin languages.
• In-depth knowledge of common databases and messaging systems like PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis/Kafka/RabbitMQ, etc.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency
