What you will do
- Build and evolve backend microservices in Go, focusing on new features, performance, and reliability improvements.
- Work with production Python-based components within the broader service ecosystem.
- Participate in architecture discussions and cross-team integrations.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years commercial Go.
- Strong background in high-load, production-critical systems.
- Solid SQL/PostgreSQL skills, including query plan optimization and understanding of indexes.
- Practical Kafka experience and understanding of event-driven processing.
- Good understanding of microservices and REST/JSON APIs.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes-based environments for production behavior and debugging.
- Production-level exposure to Python systems in a mixed Go/Python environment.
- English: Upper-Intermediate or higher for daily communication in an international team.
