What you will do

• Build and evolve backend microservices in Go, focusing on new features, performance, and reliability improvements.
• Work with production Python-based components within the broader service ecosystem.
• Participate in architecture discussions and cross-team integrations.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years commercial Go.
• Strong background in high-load, production-critical systems.
• Solid SQL/PostgreSQL skills, including query plan optimization and understanding of indexes.
• Practical Kafka experience and understanding of event-driven processing.
• Good understanding of microservices and REST/JSON APIs.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes-based environments for production behavior and debugging.
• Production-level exposure to Python systems in a mixed Go/Python environment.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher for daily communication in an international team.
