hirify.global is an IT services company searching for an enthusiastic and committed Database Developer Engineer to join its dynamic team.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries across various database technologies (MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, InfluxDB).
• Collaborate with developers across multiple languages and platforms to understand their database needs and challenges.
• Conduct thorough database system analysis, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to query performance tuning, problem resolution, and system design.
• Keep abreast with the latest technologies and trends in Database Management Systems (DBMS).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a database developer, database administrator, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and languages.
• Ability to guide software engineers in optimizing database performance through query structuring.
• Experience working with various databases such as MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and InfluxDB.
• Knowledge of various programming languages such as Python and .NET.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with different teams.
• Legal eligibility to work in Cyprus (EU/EFTA citizen, Cyprus work permit, or foreign national married to an EU citizen).
