Location: On-site in Raleigh, NC. Candidates must be based in Raleigh, NC or be open to relocating there.

What you will do

• Create 2D concept art for characters, environments, and props to support world-building.
• Enhance and iterate on pre-existing art to align with creative direction.
• Prepare and implement 2D artwork into the production pipeline.
• Work closely with artists, designers, and engineers to optimize assets.
• Support look development and visual consistency across interactive elements.
• Participate in reviews and iterate quickly based on feedback.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional or strong academic experience in concept art, illustration, or 2D game art.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles (characters, props, environments, mood pieces).
• Solid understanding of light, color, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Experience preparing art assets for implementation (animation, VFX, interactive use).
• Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Must be based in Raleigh, NC for this on-site position.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.
