What you will do

• Create time of day libraries and customize skybox materials.
• Implement local lighting on levels in collaboration with game/level artists.
• Check and control PBR and PBL on the project.
• Create custom HDRI maps and script simple lighting functions.
• Monitor and optimize performance related to lighting on levels.
• Test levels for playability and stability, focusing on lighting aspects.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of lighting in real-time engines.
• Exceptional eye for color, composition, light, and shadow.
• Strong knowledge of how light reacts with PBR materials and textures.
• Excellent understanding of in-game lighting techniques and atmospheric effects.
• A strong portfolio focused on lighting work.
• Ability to work with different disciplines to deliver lighting that follows art direction and enhances game design.
• Basic scripting understanding.
• English: B1+ (speaking) required.
