We're building the defensive layer for the age of intelligent agents. Our MCP Gateway intercepts and controls Model Context Protocol traffic, enforcing security policies on AI tool calls at enterprise scale. We're looking for two technical leads to own the core gateway and policy infrastructure from v0 to v1.

What You'll Build
Core proxy handling MCP protocol traffic (JSON-RPC 2.0 over Streamable HTTP, WebSocket, SSE)
Connection lifecycle management: capability negotiation, authentication enforcement, routing
Performance-critical real-time access control components in Rust or Go where latency demands it
AWS-native deployment architecture and infrastructure
TLS termination, connection pooling, backpressure handling

Required Experience
•5+ years systems programming with production proxy/gateway experience
•Protocol implementation: WebSocket, SSE, HTTP/2, gRPC hands-on experience
•Security engineering: TLS/mTLS, OAuth 2.1, request validation, rate limiting
•Cloud infrastructure: Containers, IaC, CI/CD, and observability
•AWS fluency: Production deployments, networking, IAM, and security services
•Python async mastery: asyncio, uvloop, FastAPI/Starlette at scale (5K+ concurrent
connections)
•TypeScript proficiency: Node.js runtime, async patterns, SDK development
B2 English
