Platform Engineer (SaaS)

TL;DR

Platform Engineer (SaaS): Contributing to the infrastructure for developing, testing, and running Veeam Data Cloud products with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and shared platform components. Focus on operating and improving services with modern technology stacks like containers, serverless, and public cloud.

Location: Remote. Must be located in the Czech Republic.

What you will do

• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage public cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Operate and improve shared platform components and internal services supporting product teams.
• Document system design, configurations, processes, and decisions.
• Collaborate with a team of remote engineers to build the VDC platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation for product operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in production operations for a SaaS or cloud service provider.
• Experience automating infrastructure through code using technologies such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with a breadth and depth of public cloud services.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise SaaS products with high reliability and security standards.
• Possessing scripting skills in languages like Bash or Python.
• English proficiency required (B2).
• Must be located in the Czech Republic.

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, ADO, etc.).
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring stacks.
