What you will do

• Work closely with the team to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of AI-based products, including architecture, UI/UX, and infrastructure deployment.
• Explain technical concepts to nonprofit partners to help them succeed with data and technology solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack cloud applications, integrating ML model predictions into user-friendly interfaces with increasing ownership.
• Implement intuitive user interfaces for AI-backed web/mobile applications, incorporating user feedback through prototyping and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and successful development of AI products.
• Engage in code reviews and pair programming, gaining familiarity with cloud infrastructure, deployment, and system design.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional full-stack development experience, with expertise in UI development and backend integration.
• Required experience with Python-based codebases.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks such as React or React Native.
• Strong programming experience with Python or Go is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions), source control (GitHub), and issue tracking (Jira).
• Familiarity with NoSQL systems (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS), containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
