Game Mathematician (iGaming)

TL;DR

Game Mathematician (iGaming): Developing and proving math models for iGaming releases with an accent on game probabilities and RTP via theoretical calculation and/or Monte Carlo simulation. Focus on collaborating with game designers and engineers to ensure correct implementation and compliance.

Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK). Must live within 30 miles of the Bristol office to attend 2 days a week; others visit occasionally. Occasional travel to other offices may be required.

What you will do

• Develop game design techniques and encourage innovation within the team.
• Collaborate with the compliance and RTP monitoring teams.
• Consult with other iGaming Creative Studios teams regarding BI/Data, game design, QA, and project planning.
• Work with game designers and mathematicians to develop proof of concept and feasible math models.
• Work with game engineers to ensure the correct implementation of math models.
• Deliver high-quality work according to game design and product requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in creating many successful iGaming releases as a mathematician.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject or relevant industry experience.
• Experience with programming simulations in C++, C#, Python, or other languages.
• Confidence using Excel.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Over a year’s experience in the iGaming space is desirable, or relevant experience in gaming or social gaming.
