Location: Must be based in the United States, with a remote work setup. Starting January 26, 2026, employees within a 50-mile commute of a U.S. Microsoft office are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $119,800 – $234,700 per year (or USD $158,400 – $258,000 for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area)

What you will do

• Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements and contribute to design documents.
• Create and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing existing code as applicable.
• Contribute to breaking down larger work items and providing estimations.
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for on-call monitoring and system restoration.
• Stay current with developments to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Solid experience in building and maintaining reliable and scalable services/platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and Azure cloud.
• Excellent coding skills, solid in OOPS, OOAD, and design patterns.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience.
• Solid with Microsoft .NET technologies (C# and the .NET Framework).
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across geographies.
