What you will do

• Lead, coordinate, and align engineering functions.
• Work closely with design to help plan and organize the development of features to improve sustainability and efficiency in the development process.
• Deliver feedback and take part in reviews and performance management.
• Hands-on engineering will be 40-60% of the role.

Requirements

• Emotional intelligence and a calm, self-assured leadership style.
• Experience as an Engineering Manager in a technology, product, or creative company.
• Experience with Swift and iOS.
• Good technical judgment and a track record of making technically grounded decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with diverse languages that have alternate paradigms to Swift (Haskell/C/Rust).
