What you will do

• Build high-throughput, highly available services for the hirify.global service platform.
• Innovate performant solutions that scale to increasing business demands.
• Participate in high-level architecture discussions and planning sessions.
• Develop simple solutions to complex problems and ensure team-wide code quality.
• Author technical proposals and root cause analyses.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of professional experience.
• Proficient in Scala and functional programming paradigms.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful web APIs in an enterprise setting.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle, including source control, CI/CD, and various testing approaches.
• Distributed systems knowledge, having supported multiple high-throughput production systems.
• Experience with AWS in a production setting, leveraging offerings for compute, databases, storage, containers, and serverless technologies.
• Experience with asynchronous programming models, ideally supporting high-throughput systems running on the JVM in production.
• Must have legal right to work in the US.
